About The Position

Securitas Security is looking for Armed Security professionals to join our team in providing overall safety and security services to our clients. Our armed program includes advanced firearms training, personal defense strategies, de-escalation, and use of force. We issue all necessary equipment to include company issued firearm and ammunition. We are looking for individuals who have prior law enforcement, military and or armed experience to join our team! What Your Day May Look Like: Patrol assigned site on foot or in a vehicle; check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons. Work directly with law enforcement / government staffing and the community. Write detailed incident reports on unauthorized entries, suspicious activity, emergency situations, and any other observed issues. Security screen all persons coming through the public entrance to ensure prohibited items are not entering facilities. Monitor surveillance cameras. Requirements

21 years of age or older.
High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
Standard computer / technology skills needed - The ability to utilize a tablet, computer, or smartphone.
Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
Must have armed, military, or law enforcement experience.
Must pass pre-hire testing assignment and shooting qualification.
Must have a reliable personal vehicle.
Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.
Must be able to provide the office with a reliable phone number where the officer can be reached at all times (i.e. cellular).
Must be reliable, accountable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing / permit requirements for Security Officers.

Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus!!
