As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. This role requires you to be armed and to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
A combined total of at least 3 years of law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in accordance with Allied Universal standards, providing customer service to clients and visitors at a defense industry location.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate de-escalation and emergency response protocols.
Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering secured areas to help to maintain the integrity of restricted zones.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by site protocols.
Collaborate with site personnel and local law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns or emergencies.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential threats and/or unauthorized actions.
