As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting an aero and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm, professional communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license and an armed post. Requirements

• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response procedures for an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Control access at gates and other entry points by verifying identification, authorizations, badges, and/or credentials, and directing visitors to the appropriate check-in process.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
• Complete required security-related reports and logs, document incidents and observations, and communicate status updates to supervisors and site stakeholders.
