About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol in Manson, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for unusual activity and report observations according to established protocols.
Assist visitors, staff, and/or contractors with directions or information as needed in accordance with site guidelines.
Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when required during incidents.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and/or patrols as required by Allied Universal and the location.
Follow all Allied Universal and client-specific protocols regarding the handling of firearms and other security-related equipment.
