Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol in Clinton, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer, where you'll monitor and patrol government locations to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. This role involves routine patrols, visible engagement with the community, and delivering outstanding customer service. As this is an armed and driving post, you'll use your training and professionalism to support a secure environment while demonstrating our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entry and exit points, verifying credentials and maintaining awareness of all individuals on the premises.
Assist law enforcement or emergency personnel as requested, following established protocols.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal procedures.
Remain alert and attentive to surroundings, helping to deter prohibited items or contraband within the location.
Participate in ongoing training and maintain required certifications for armed positions.
