As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol in Goldsboro, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
A minimum of 6 months of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry or suspicious behavior.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of all incidents, activities, and observations during patrols.
Work collaboratively with local law enforcement or emergency responders as required by the situation.
Remain alert and aware of surroundings at all times while performing assigned duties.
Follow all company and client protocols for armed personnel, including proper handling and storage of assigned weapons.
