Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol in Manson, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer, you will monitor and patrol a government location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing excellent customer service. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities as you conduct routine patrols and remain visible throughout the site. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
Monitor and report any suspicious activities or security-related breaches within the premises.
Interact professionally with visitors, staff, and/or contractors, maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
Document and communicate incidents, observations, and/or concerns to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and client contacts as required.
Support access control procedures by verifying identification and/or credentials as needed.
Assist with emergency response protocols, including evacuation and/or lockdown procedures as directed by site-specific guidelines.
