As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a dynamic retail location. Requirements

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, using appropriate judgment and communication skills.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and surrounding perimeter to help to deter potential unwanted activity and to observe for any irregularities.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of observations, incidents, and activities during assigned shifts.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters and/or incidents.
• Follow all company protocols and client-specific instructions while carrying out armed patrol duties at the location.
