As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and/or first aid certification is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas within the location to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other prohibited activities.
Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and/or unusual occurrences during patrols.
Work collaboratively with store staff and/or management to address security-related concerns and support loss prevention efforts.
Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or incidents, following Allied Universal protocols and site-specific guidelines.
