As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols at a retail location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. This is an armed and driving post, where your professionalism and attention to detail will support a secure environment. You will engage with customers and staff, delivering excellent customer service while embodying our values of teamwork, integrity, and innovation.

Requirements

Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security experience or possess a college degree.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Level III armed certification for Texas is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for suspicious activity and/or individuals, reporting any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control and verify identification of individuals entering restricted areas as required by site policies.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences.
Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency responders when necessary.
Remain alert to potential hazards and communicate any observed issues to management or the appropriate parties.
