Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver in Cumberland City, TN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, and stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, and you will carry out armed duties while delivering clear communication and strong customer service. Requirements

• Have 3+ Years' Combined Law Enforcement/Military/Security Experience OR a College Degree.
• Be 21+ Years of Age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Pepper Spray Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Carry and maintain assigned firearm and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, licensing requirements, and site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site representatives and/or local public agencies as directed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Complete timely reports and logs, document incidents and patrol activities, and communicate status updates to supervision and/or the client as required.
