As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols and security-related checks, remain highly visible to help to deter incidents, and respond to situations with calm, clear communication. This is an armed, driving post, supporting mobile coverage across assigned areas while delivering customer service and detailed reporting. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Have 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Have an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Have an armed guard card and/or license.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma and/or GED.
• Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following site-specific security-related procedures, access guidelines, and post orders at a government location, and when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
• Conduct armed patrols on foot and/or by vehicle throughout assigned buildings, parking areas, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken.
• Control access to restricted areas by verifying identification, monitoring entry and exit points, and reporting unauthorized activity to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required reports and logs, communicate key information during shift briefings, and support local law enforcement and/or first responders when requested.
