As an Armed Security Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to reduce security-related incidents. You will support staff and visitors with strong customer service and clear communication, while documenting observations and using provided systems to report activity. Requirements

  • Possess an Armed Guard Card and/or license.
  • Must be clean shaven (No Beards)
  • Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Control access by monitoring entrances, managing visitor check-in, and verifying credentials in accordance with site-specific requirements.
  • Monitor lobby, teller line, and ATM areas for unusual activity and conditions that may help to deter incidents, and communicate observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, medical events, and/or requests for assistance.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, complete required reports, and document security-related activities per post orders.
