As a Security Officer - Armed Hospital Rounds in Fayetteville, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing peace of mind to staff, patients, and visitors. Requirements

  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, responding to emergencies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
  • Assist medical staff, patients, and visitors with security-related concerns and provide guidance as needed.
  • Report and document any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to site protocols.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel when required.
  • Operate communication devices and security-related technology in accordance with site procedures.
