As a Security Officer - Armed Government Driver Patrol in Butner, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at this government location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a strong, visible presence. This driving and armed post requires you to provide exceptional customer service while monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. Requirements

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the designated government location, including both the interior and perimeter areas.
Monitor for unusual activities or potential security-related concerns and report findings according to established protocols.
Assist with access control by verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site-specific policies.
Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency personnel during incidents, following established protocols and instructions.
Document observations, incidents, and activities accurately through written reports and communication tools provided by Allied Universal.
Remain alert and attentive to surroundings in order to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or breaches.
