As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol Driver in Morganton, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while upholding the highest standards of customer service and communication. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any unusual conditions.
Monitor for potential security-related risks and report any suspicious activity or incidents according to established protocols.
Interact with visitors, staff, and/or contractors in a courteous manner while enforcing access control procedures as required by the location.
Prepare detailed and timely reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or observations as required by Allied Universal and site management.
Support law enforcement and emergency response personnel as needed during critical situations or incidents.
