You will conduct routine driving patrols, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and respond to calls with calm, clear communication. This is a driver post, so you will use a company-approved vehicle approach and follow site procedures while delivering customer service with integrity. Requirements

  • Client requires proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • DD214 with Honorable Discharge OR Associates Degree OR 60 College Credits OR Police Academy Certificate OR Corrections Academy Certificate.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or the public at a government location by following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and perform security-related screening and/or credential checks as directed, documenting entries, exits, and contractor activity per site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from supervisors and/or public agency partners when needed.
  • Complete reports, logs, and incident documentation, and communicate observations and post updates to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts as required.
