As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. This driving and armed post involves conducting routine patrols, responding promptly to incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service. Requirements

An Armed Guard Card or license is required.
Level III Armed Certification is required for positions in Texas only.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter theft and/or suspicious activity.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide assistance as needed.
Complete incident reports and daily activity logs as required by Allied Universal and client policies.
Collaborate with store management and/or law enforcement as needed during incidents or emergencies.
Remain alert and prepared to respond to security-related situations, including those that may require an armed response.
