As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned financial locations, providing a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will carry out routine patrols, respond to incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • At least two years of security-related experience are required.
  • A valid concealed carry weapons permit is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the financial institution's location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, helping to maintain a secure environment for employees, clients, and visitors.
  • Report and document any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Work closely with site management and law enforcement when required, providing support during incidents and/or emergencies.
  • Remain alert and aware of surroundings, adapting to changing conditions within the financial institution environment.
