As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will conduct regular patrols and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This role requires carrying a firearm and operating a vehicle as part of your daily responsibilities. You will provide outstanding customer service and communication, demonstrating our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork in every interaction.

Requirements

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Level III Armed Certification Texas only is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for unusual or suspicious behavior and report findings according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats within the aerospace and defense environment.
  • Follow all site-specific and security-related procedures for access control, visitor management, and incident reporting.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed during critical situations.
