Job Description As a Armed Security Officer - Patrol Rounds in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a transit location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a highly visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm, clear communication. You will support access control and incident reporting while delivering customer-focused service to the public and staff. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients and the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a public transportation location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate internal personnel and/or public emergency services as needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of platforms, stations, parking areas, facilities, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage. Monitor access points and screen for prohibited behavior and/or items in accordance with post orders, maintaining a professional presence while carrying authorized equipment. Complete written and/or electronic reports, document unusual activity, and communicate observations to site leadership, Allied Universal supervision, and/or responding law enforcement. Minimum Requirements: Possess an armed guard card and/or license. Be at least 21 years of age. Baton permit is highly preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Handcuffing certification is preferred and may be completed post hire. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
