Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
At least 6 months of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols inside and around the perimeter of the location to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or incidents.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, observations, and incidents as required by site protocols.
Assist law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as directed during incidents or emergencies.
Carry and maintain proficiency with assigned firearms and/or other defensive equipment in accordance with Allied Universal and client site requirements.
Communicate clearly with team members, management, and client representatives regarding security-related matters.
