About The Position

As a Security Guard - Armed Facility Patrol in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is an armed and driving post where you will interact with the public, deliver exceptional customer service, and work with a dedicated team. Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain accurate records and logs of patrols, incidents, and any security-related observations.
Interact with visitors, staff, and/or residents in a courteous manner while enforcing site policies and procedures.
Assist Allied Universal and site management with emergency response and/or evacuation procedures as required.
