Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
A valid concealed carry weapons permit is required.
An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, including sensitive areas, to help to deter unauthorized activities.
Monitor access points and control entry and exit of personnel and vehicles, in accordance with site policies for an aerospace and defense environment.
Remain alert to potential security-related threats or unusual activities and report findings promptly to the appropriate authorities.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential incidents and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
Operate and maintain assigned security-related equipment, including firearms, in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.
