As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will interact with employees and visitors, deliver outstanding customer service, and respond to incidents as needed. Requirements

  • Possess an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Handcuff, pepper spray, and baton certifications are preferred.
  • Pepper spray certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
  • Monitor for and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns in the tech, media, or telecom environment.
  • Follow all site-specific protocols for access control, visitor management, and incident reporting.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with employees, visitors, and/or contractors at the location.
  • Assist with emergency response activities according to established protocols and work closely with local authorities as required.
  • Operate and maintain assigned equipment, including communication devices and/or access control systems, as required for armed patrol duties.
