About The Position

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION Under the direct supervision of the CPO Line Supervisor, ensures parts and products are received and warehoused. Serves as the subject matter expert for their assigned area.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/Equivalent required.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Must be able to read and write in English.
  • Valid forklift certification (OSHA Compliant). Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience operating various types of forklifts in a warehouse environment.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics environment.
  • Efficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain production and distribution schedules by safely transporting materials, stocking inventory, loading/unloading trucks, and accurately documenting inventory movements.
  • Verifies all incoming and/or outgoing shipments against bill of lading information for any visible damage.
  • Review inbound shipping documents to ensure accuracy.
  • Safe PIV Operation: Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and electric hoists to move materials in and out of racks, trailers, and production areas
  • Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload trailers using PIVs, ensuring loads are secure and balanced.
  • Inspections: Conduct daily pre-use safety inspections on equipment (forklifts) and report maintenance issues immediately
  • Material Movement & Staging: Move raw materials to production lines and transport finished goods to the warehouse or staging area.
  • Inventory Accuracy: Scan, track, and record inventory moves using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or RF scanners
  • Research the root cause and document daily inaccurate inventory.
  • Damage Reporting: Identify, record, and report damaged materials or shortages to supervisors.
  • Communicate with appropriate cross-functional team members to ensure processes are followed, and any problems are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Identifies and records any problems relating to the product, process, or systems.
  • Initiates, recommends, and provides solutions through appropriate channels and verifies implementation.
  • Creates, maintains, and reports needed data, documentation, and paperwork.
  • Maintains a safe and productive work environment by maintaining a clean workspace, and assists in 5S (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) initiatives and adheres to all OSHA safety rules.
  • Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
  • Must be able to work overtime as necessary.
