About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated Area Safety Coordinator to join our team in Asheville, North Carolina. The ideal candidate is a dependable, organized, productive team player with the ability to work well with others. Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure OSHA and company safety standards are being met on our job sites. Conduct regular site inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards. Coach employees regarding PPE, tool safety, and safe working practices. Conduct safety related instruction during new hire orientation. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses and prepare detailed reports. Prepare monthly reports for site accidents, motor vehicle accidents, site work hours, and mileage. Plan and host safety meetings and assist the General Manager for the annual Safety Day. Stay updated on the latest safety laws and industry best practices to ensure our safety programs are current and effective. Other duties, as required. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience of construction safety experience. OR Minimum of 3 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree in construction management or occupational health. OSHA 510 or the ability to obtain within 6 months of employment. Once prerequisites are met, OSHA 500 will be required. Able to travel within our Asheville service area. Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience of construction safety experience. OR Minimum of 3 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree in construction management or occupational health.
