Position Summary: The Safety Coordinator will support the field team through compliance and safety. They will be working towards driving culture and tracking compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities: Collaborates with management to develop, prepare, and implement safety policies and procedures. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local safety laws, regulations, codes, and rules. Ensures completion of required OSHA recordkeeping and reporting. Ensures completion of all clients required training/orientation for both safety and environmental. Conduct and provide oversight for accident/incident investigations and complete reports to be uploaded into client’s internal portal. Identifies opportunities to minimize workplace injuries, accidents, and health problems. Conducts employee training on applicable safety standards. Reviews safety training and recommends revisions, improvements, and updates. Conducts safety inspections, observations, and audits to assess employee compliance with safety regulations and identify opportunities for improvement. Manage customer required system compliance Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in health and safety or other equivalent practice. Knowledge of Federal and State safety regulations. CHST and/or CUSP or other equivalent certification preferred. Skills, Specialized Knowledge, and Abilities: Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain a high level of confidentiality. Outgoing personality, self-motivated. Excellent customer service, telephonic, electronic, and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with, persuade, and gain buy-in from a broad range of stakeholders from a new crew to senior executive leader. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel. Must have organization, attention to detail, flexibility, and strong ability to multi-task. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment without direct supervision. Must embrace a team based, initiative driven environment. Must possess a level of technical expertise.
