About The Position

This role focuses on building a new local delivery partner network by recruiting small and medium-sized businesses into a brand-new delivery program in the Cape Girardeau and Perryville, MO area. The representative will spend most of their time in the field visiting prospective businesses, presenting the program, qualifying leads, and guiding interested partners through the application process while maintaining accurate records in Salesforce. They will collaborate closely with a Field Manager and other local contractors to execute outreach campaigns, community events, and referral initiatives, with significant earning potential through uncapped commissions.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in an outside sales environment.
  • Field sales experience.
  • Experience using CRM systems, with specific experience in Salesforce.
  • Proven ability to conduct door-to-door or in-person sales outreach.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to travel up to approximately 3 hours round trip on a daily basis.
  • High level of professionalism and a strong sense of urgency in follow-up and execution.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately manage and update sales data.
  • Comfort working with technology and multiple systems, including Excel and CRM tools.

Nice To Haves

  • 1–2 years of experience in sales and/or customer service roles.
  • Prior experience in roles that involved sales and/or negotiation with customers.
  • Experience in field sales is a plus.
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for working with others and building relationships in the community.
  • Problem-solving skills to support applicants through the onboarding process.
  • Tech-savvy mindset and comfort learning new digital tools and platforms.
  • Motivation to grow with a new program and help develop a new territory around a local delivery station.

Responsibilities

  • Visit prospective businesses door to door in targeted towns within approximately a 90-minute driving radius to introduce the delivery partner program.
  • Present and pitch the new delivery program opportunity to local businesses and generate strong interest in applying.
  • Qualify prospective businesses based on program criteria and guide them through the full application process.
  • Lead and track sales activity in Salesforce, maintaining an organized and up-to-date pipeline of prospects and applicants.
  • Import Excel spreadsheets into Salesforce on a weekly basis to ensure accurate reporting and data integrity.
  • Support the Field Manager in planning, coordinating, and hosting recruitment events in the community, such as lunch-and-learns and town hall meetings.
  • Collaborate with the Field Manager to build relationships with local influencers and organizations, including chambers of commerce and economic development associations, to drive referrals.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with business owners and decision-makers, answering questions and addressing concerns about the program.
  • Problem-solve in the field to help applicants overcome barriers in the application and onboarding process.
  • Manage time and travel efficiently to cover the assigned territory and maximize outreach and conversion opportunities.
