The University Area Coordinator (AC) at UW‑Green Bay plays a vital role in advancing student success by fostering an inclusive, engaging, and safe residential community where students can thrive academically and personally. Serving as a live‑in professional within Housing and Residential Education, the AC oversees a residential area of approximately 700–800 students and provides leadership and support to student staff. Grounded in UW‑Green Bay’s mission to deliver high‑impact education and meaningful access for learners across Northeast Wisconsin, this position advances the University’s strategic priorities by building community, supporting holistic student development, and responding fearlessly to challenges that impact student well‑being. Guided by UW‑Green Bay’s values—Advance Fearlessly, Empower Success, Provision Access, Build Community, and Express Gratitude—the AC provides day‑to‑day supervision, training, and mentorship to student staff; supports residential programming and engagement initiatives; responds to crises and emergency situations; and contributes to key departmental functional areas such as Residential Curriculum, Living‑Learning initiatives, staff development, or student leadership. The AC is a collaborative campus partner, an on‑call professional dedicated to care and accountability, and a champion of a connected residential experience. Together, We Rise—and in this role, you help ensure every resident feels supported, challenged, and inspired to lead their own journey of success at UW‑Green Bay.
