About The Position

We are currently seeking a Project Architect to join our Architecture department in Richmond, VA . This role plays a key part in the development of complex, non-routine projects, leading architectural design from the proposal phase through to construction. As a Project Architect, you will oversee several projects of varying size simultaneously, developing and working closely with junior architectural staff across the company for support. Requirements

  • Experience: 7-10 years in all phases of architectural projects
  • Education: Professional degree in Architecture (B. Arch. or M. Arch.) from an NAAB-accredited university
  • Certification: Registered Architect (RA) in Virginia or reciprocity within 3 months of start date
  • Skills: Proficient in Autodesk Revit, with the ability to mentor staff
  • Attributes: Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills; adaptable and self-motivated
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Candidates must be eligible to obtain a security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • LEED BD+C credential
  • Experience with government projects (Federal, State, Local)
  • Proficient in AutoCADD, with the ability to mentor staff.
