Corporate office hours are Monday through Friday, 7am to 4am - Flexibility to work additional hours may be required to meet company/project needs. On-Site Requirement: This position requires physical presence at our corporate office during office hours.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 10+ years’ of professional experience in architectural design.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in designing large-scale multifamily projects.
  • Bachelor or master’s degree of Architecture or related field.
  • Licensed architect in one of the 50 states. The company will provide financial support for obtaining reciprocity in Washington.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional years in Revit is required.
  • Strong proficiency in relevant architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Enscape, or similar tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards related to multifamily design.
  • Understanding of sustainable design principles and a commitment to creating environmentally responsible projects.
  • Ability to lead project design with minimal oversight.
  • Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in effective communication and teamwork.
  • Maintains a positive outlook and embraces a collaborative team approach.
  • Shows responsibility and takes pride in their work.
  • Fluent in English, with strong reading, speaking, and writing skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Address zoning code issues, ensuring compliance and clarity on ambiguous areas.
  • Contribute creative ideas and details to the team.
  • Prepare and present design concepts to the project team.
  • Produce high-quality construction documents using Revit/BIM.
  • Manage project drawings and ensure timely completion.
  • Analyze and summarize zoning codes for the team.
  • Coordinate site plans and review grading and drainage compliance.
  • Participate in meetings, hearings, and oversee project lifecycles.
  • Lead assigned projects, ensuring adherence to company standards.
  • Assist with site observations and document contract conformance.
  • Review scopes of work and proposals for consultants.
  • Provide weekly progress reports and address project issues promptly.
  • Coordinate with external consultants and serve as the primary contact.
  • Monitor consultant work, ensure ADA compliance, and review accuracy of drawings.
  • Assist in establishing new design standards and best practices.
  • Foster teamwork and represent the company professionally.
  • Manage schedules and mentor junior team members.
