About The Position

The Aquatics Summer Lead Associate assists the Aquatics Director in ensuring company standards and best practices are implemented and adopted, and that financial budgets are met. This role involves empowering employees through training and leadership, and is responsible for delivering five-star service and maintaining clean and safe Aquatics facilities.

Requirements

  • Understands and can utilize American Red Cross standards of teamwork, rescue and surveillance
  • Swimming proficiency
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification (includes CPR/First AID/AED for the Professional Rescuer)
  • Have physical, visual, and auditory ability to perform essential functions of the job description

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 2-year lifeguarding preferred
  • Minimum of 2-year swim instructor preferred
  • Experience scheduling lifeguards and swim lessons preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrates good customer service skills, energetic, enthusiastic and motivational
  • Lifeguard Instructor (LGI) Certification preferred
  • High School diploma preferred
