Responsibilities

  • Processes registrations, class transfers, and refunds and completes other registration-related tasks
  • Maintains a positive image and relationship with Park District patrons and visitors, and assists them in resolving their concerns and issues
  • Creates reservations in online pool calendar to communicate open/close times for open swim, programming and events to patrons
  • Monitors ActiveNet program registration participant numbers and makes recommendations to the supervisor on program cancellations, merges, and expansions
  • Responds to phone calls and in-person interactions with customers to ensure the provision of high-quality customer service and oversee ongoing staff training.
  • Answers telephones and gives general information in response to public or vendor inquiries
  • Word processes and types a variety of documents, letters, forms, spreadsheets, and reports
  • Sorts, indexes, and files materials alphabetically, numerically, and geographically
  • Utilize printing, laminating, copying equipment
  • Operates a computer to enter or access data
  • Maintains office supplies and collaborates with Guest Services Coordinator for purchases.
  • Attends work on a regular basis
  • Performs the job safely and in compliance with District policies, procedures, work and safety rules, and the employee handbook
  • Maintains a clean and organized work environment
  • Additional functions as assigned which may be considered essential
