About The Position

We are Olsson. We engineer and design solutions that improve the world around us. As a company, we promise to always be responsive, transparent, and focused on results – for our people, our clients, and our company. We’re a people-centric firm, so it’s no surprise our greatest asset is our people. The impact this creates is an environment that encourages our people to grow and be creative with their talents. This approach builds a culture that is uniquely Olsson. It allows us to grow our people as we grow our business. This, in turn, creates a lasting impact on the world around us. The Citizen Development Program Leader serves as the strategic and operational owner of Olsson’s Citizen Development Program. This role is led by the Applied Technology team and defines the program’s overall direction, establishes the operating model, and maintains the guardrails that ensure all solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with enterprise standards, while intentionally accelerating the speed at which ideas can move from concept to a full operational solution. As the central authority for Citizen Development, Applied Technology guides and supports the broader citizen developer community by providing governance frameworks, approved platforms, training resources, and standardized processes. This role ensures that employees have the tools and pathways they need to create lightweight, impactful solutions while maintaining the integrity of Olsson’s technology ecosystem. Functioning as the connective layer between business needs, technical enablement, and IT oversight, the Program Leader drives alignment across technical teams, facilitates collaboration with subject matter experts, and ensures that solutions developed by employees complement and not conflict with core enterprise systems.
