We currently have an opening for an Applications Systems Analyst II This position may be eligible for hybrid remote work in accordance with state policy and the agency’s remote work program but does require weekly onsite work The Early Career Associate Program is ideal for recent graduates, early-career professionals, or those looking to transition to a new career seeking broad exposure to state IT operations. The Early Career Associate Program is a two-year on-the-job training (OJT) program designed for individuals with three years or less of professional experience. After gaining exposure to the role through the development process, participants will have the opportunity to be placed in a permanent role based on mutual fit and career goals. The Engineering Application Development Unit is responsible for the implementation, operation and maintenance of IT systems for the automation of engineering designs and processes. The candidate for this position will use their engineering experience to design, develop and support highly complex computer software applications for the analysis, design, and rating of structural engineering components. This position will act as a team lead for assigned projects and will be responsible for creating structural engineering calculations and validating work of other team members assigned to the project. The primary purpose of the Engineering Applications Development Unit is to coordinate and direct the planning, development, or procurement, installation and operation of information systems for the various Highway Division Branches and Units.
