Lockheed Martin (LM) is looking for an resourceful Associate Systems Engineer to become a member of the Systems Engineering and Integration Team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Mechanical or Systems Engineering or related from an accredited college
  • Experience or familiarity in mechanical design or analysis
  • Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Nice To Haves

  • MS Office software including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and/or Project
  • Proficiency in Systems Engineering such as requirements development, interface definition, integration, and/or subsystem test
  • Experience with DOORS or DOORS Next
  • Experience with, or on, the FBM program, working with the Navy, or Submarine exposure is highly desired
  • Self-starter, able to complete work without appreciable direction
  • Demonstrated expertise in test planning, including the development of test requirements, objectives and test planning
  • Experience troubleshooting test anomalies and off-nomination conditions
  • Experience coordinating across multi-functional organizations or engineering disciplines
  • Active Security Clearance

Responsibilities

  • Develop/analyze/verify subsystem and package/box level requirements
  • Support design trade studies to optimize the design for performance and producibility
  • Define and document key internal and external interfaces. Perform related combability analyses
  • Coordinate with customer and other contractors to develop key test artifacts including test requirements, plans, objectives and to support the development of test procedures
  • Participate in activities with domain experts across subsystems, SEIT, and special disciplines
  • Participate in subsystem level technical reviews including TIMs, SRRs, PDRs, etc
