About The Position

The Application Engineering Intern is responsible for providing technical
support to internal and external customers.  As member of the Application
Engineering the Application Engineering Intern will serve as the primary
technical contact for the CSR department.  They will also serve as the owner of
the Application Engineering email inbox.  This position requires organizational
skills, the ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) and the
ability to critically think to find solutions for MTE product related questions
or issues.

Requirements

• Junior/Senior level enrolled in a technical field (EE preferred)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Detail oriented
• Excellent Microsoft excel skills
• Critical thinker and problem solver
• Ability to work independently
• Self-starter

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development of processes and procedures that support the Application Engineering Department
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing team to develop technical support FAQs for specific applications
• Collaborate with Customer Service team to create appropriate tools to answer entry level product support requests
• With some assistance from Application Engineers, serve as the primary technical point of contact for Customer Service team
• Serve as the owner of Application Engineering inbox for pre-sales questions
• Develop and maintain cross reference tools to support customer service needs
• Assist in the development of learning content
• Provide additional support as required
• Effective communication skills to collaborate and support the team environment at all levels of the corporation to resolve issues in a positive manner.
