The Information Technology Department at Cambridge Health Alliance empowers high-quality, equitable, and patient-centered care through innovative and secure health IT solutions. Grounded in CHA's mission and strategic plan, IT supports clinical, operational, and academic excellence by providing reliable infrastructure, safeguarding health information, and enabling data-driven decision-making. With a future-focused approach, the team works to enhance access, advance health equity, and drive innovation across the system. The Applications Analyst III maintains and optimizes current system applications, including Epic, ensures system application updates are working properly before updates are loaded into the live system by coordinating testing and update dates with users and vendor; integrates new applications in the existing health information system according to the implementation scle. • Acts as liaison between users and the software vendors; guides the modification of system applications in instances w current applications impede performance or w changes will enhance performance. • Facilitates end users' ability to understand and maximize use of the software to perform daily operations; works with I.T. Education staff to develop specialized training andcates users in system optimization. • Responds to user questions with timely answers and/or referral to appropriate department/person. • Coordinates with Business Analysts to provide expertise in development of reporting tools. • Manages IT projects in collaboration with Operational and Clinical subject matter experts.
