About The Position

Responsible for unique or complex information systems and/or information technology tasks within more than one discipline, such as application support, database administration, software quality assurance/quality control, software engineering, network telecommunications, and infrastructure operations of administration, analysis, engineering and design.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field or equivalent relevant experience; Master’s Degree preferred.
5+ years of relevant experience.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and products that include Microsoft Windows, Windows Servers, Microsoft Office365 and SharePoint, Microsoft Teams.
Applies standard methodology, techniques, procedures and criteria.
Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and resolve complex system hardware, software or networking related problems.
Ability to plan and coordinate the deployment of new technology and resolve technical problems individually and as a senior project participant.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing and to translate technical terminology into terms understandable to non-technical employees.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Advanced experience with cloud infrastructure, digital workspace, and storage technology.

Nice To Haves

CompTIA A+ or ITIL certification preferred

Responsibilities

Responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining operating system workstations and servers, including web servers, in support of business processing requirements.
Performs software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages.
Schedules installations and upgrades and maintains them in accordance with established IT policies and procedures.
Monitors and tunes the system to achieve optimum performance levels.
Ensures workstation/server data integrity by evaluating, implementing, and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions.
Ensures data/media recoverability by implementing a schedule of system backups and database archive operations.
Develops and promotes standard operating procedures.
Conducts routine hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.
Develops and maintains a comprehensive operating system hardware and software configuration database/library of all supporting documentation.
Patching, configuration, and security associated with Windows, RHEL Linux, Photon, VMWare vSphere.
Integration with enterprise logging and security services.
File/print services, active directory, monitoring, group policies, and scripting/automation in PowerShell and Linux equivalents.
