Requirements

  • Application troubleshooting – Diagnosing and resolving software issues using logs, error reports, and monitoring tools.
  • Technical support – Providing assistance for both internal teams and external clients, often under pressure.
  • SQL and database knowledge – Writing queries, analyzing data, and understanding relational databases.
  • Incident management – Handling service disruptions efficiently and documenting resolutions.
  • Customer service – Communicating clearly and empathetically with users of varying technical backgrounds.
  • Regularly lift 50 pounds and use of hand and wrists when typing information on keyboard.
  • Must be able to twist, reach overhead, crawl, stoop, and bend to the floor.
  • Must be able to read written materials and instructions to communicate with co-workers and customers.
  • Must be able to make and receive phone calls.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science in Electronics or Electrical Engineering from four-year college or university preferred; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Answering calls and emails from customers promptly.
  • Troubleshooting technical issues and providing timely feedback through various means of communication (phone, email, or chat) until technical issues are resolved.
  • Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers.
  • Coordinate with the design and development teams to resolve complex application and system issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis to identify the reasons for the underlying issue.
  • Prepare recommendations for testing and documentation of procedures to be used from the product design phase through to initial production.
  • Plan and execute strategies and configuration changes to ensure optimal quality assurance for all applications.
  • Review test equipment designs, data and RMA issues with customers regularly.
  • Direct and coordinate engineering activities concerned with development, procurement, installation, and calibration of instruments, equipment, and control devices required to test, record, and reduce test data.
  • Determine conditions under which tests are to be conducted and sequences and phases of test operations.
  • Direct and exercise control over operational, functional, and performance phases of tests.
  • Perform moderately complex assignments of the engineering test function for standard and/or custom devices.
  • Analyze and interpret test data and prepare technical reports for use by test engineering and management personnel.
  • Coordinate with the development team to administer code migrations across various environments.
  • Monitor all alerts related to application and provide proactive services.
  • Perform semi-routine technique development and maintenance, subject to established Cirris standards, including ISO and AS9100 standards.
  • Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
  • Comply and follow all procedures within the company policy.
