Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field, and five (5) years of experience as an Application Developer or similar role implementing Workday and related technologies.
  • Workday System: Workday Studio, Workday EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder), Workday Connectors (Core, Cloud, and Custom), Workday Calculated Fields, Workday BIRT (Business Intelligence and Reporting Tool), Workday Security Configuration, Workday Business Process Framework, Workday Integration System User (ISU).
  • Scripting & Development: HTML, XML, XSLT, JSON, JavaScript.
  • HRMS Modules: HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Absence Management, Recruiting, Time Tracking.
  • Web Services & APIs: SOAP, WSDL, REST and Postman.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, deploy, and maintain Workday integrations (internal and third-party) using EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, Document Transformation, and Workday Studio to meet business requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Workday configurations, integrations, and customizations, ensuring system stability and optimal performance.
  • Manage and support additional enterprise applications, including VNDLY and E-Trade, ensuring smooth functionality, timely issue resolution, and continuous improvement.
  • Provided ongoing maintenance and support for existing integrations, addressing defects, implementing enhancements, and applying required updates.
  • Oversee application maintenance activities, coordinating with offshore teams to ensure 24/7 coverage and efficient issue resolution.
  • Act as the primary liaison between business users and IT teams for multiple applications, handling inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring timely communication.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze Workday integration requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Stay on top of email communications, responding to business users, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams while prioritizing critical issues.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Workday developers and support consultants, conducting one-on-one meetings to track progress, provide feedback, and improve overall efficiency.
  • Stay up to date with Workday releases and new functionalities, assessing their impact and implementing necessary system updates.
  • Conduct trainings and knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities, improve troubleshooting efficiency, and ensure best practices are followed.
  • Maintain and update documentation, runbooks, and SOPs for Workday, VNDLY, E-Trade, and other applications, ensuring clarity and accessibility for support teams.
  • Monitor Workday and other application releases, assessing the impact of new features and coordinating necessary updates or enhancements.
  • Work closely with Integration Leads, Tech Leads, and Project Managers to deliver seamless integrations while ensuring adherence to compliance and security standards.
  • Continuously analyze application support processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Track and manage the end-to-end development lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality expectations.
