About The Position

As a member of the IT Team at OnLogic, you are responsible for developing our facilities automation services and supporting our other core business applications. In this role you will improve our services and provide primary technical support to end users on various technical issues and problems relating to our internal applications. Requirements

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field preferred, or comparable job-related experience and training.
  • You have competency in Facility Automation (Intrusion detection, Surveillance, Energy Savings, A/V, Lighting, Climate Control) integration and optimization
  • You have competency in Physical Access Control System
  • You have competency in Industrial Automation and Control Systems (IACS) integration
  • You have competency in Internet of Things protocols like MQTT, CoAP, Zigbee, BLE
  • You have competency in SQL (Postgres, MySQL, SQL Server) including database and query optimization.
  • You have competency in Python, PHP and related libraries, methodologies, and frameworks.
  • You have a basic understanding of CSS/HTML/XML.
  • You have demonstrated knowledge of operating systems including Linux.
  • A people-person and a problem solver.
  • Energized by being the first person to dig into an application issue.
  • An eager learner to become an expert in our core business IT systems.
  • A solution-driver for both technical and non--technical end users.

Responsibilities

  • Managing our global Facility Automation services.
  • Managing our global Physical Access Control System (PACS).
  • Managing our global real-time AI object detection Surveillance service.
  • Managing incoming support requests related to our ERP, CRM or Ecommerce site.
  • Debugging, coding, testing and documenting simple software fixes and escalating more complex issues.
  • Developing and running business reports.
  • Developing knowledge of the OnLogic products and internal processes.
  • Writing effective documentation and training support for systems.
