About The Position

Ritz-Craft is currently accepting applications for an Application Engineer to work as an integral part of our Infrastructure Team. Qualified applicants must have the ability to communicate professionally and effectively and work well in a team environment for project collaboration and delivery from concept to completion in all infrastructure projects in the John Brothers Holding (JBH) portfolio. As the Application Engineer, you will lead programming projects for current platforms, and future developments with the immediate and expanded teams within the JBH divisions. Requirements

  • Strong analytical and project management skills a must
  • Leadership of & ability to build effective programming for environmental needs
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite products
  • Software development rollout and implementation experience
  • Time management in a software development environment with proven track record of success
  • Software scoping and program development
  • ERP workflow understanding a plus
  • Knowledge of software/languages: Python, Blazer, .Net Framework, AWS, SQL, R-Code, MS Click Once, Auth0, Java, C#, HTML

Responsibilities

  • SQL server management
  • Application development, maintenance, troubleshooting, and general management
  • Windows Presentation Foundation admin
  • Work closely with 3rd party development professionals.
  • Lead software development initiatives with both internal and external stakeholders and third parties as assigned.
  • Manage and maintain Ritz-Crafts compliance and ongoing technology adoption for success.
  • Be a leader in troubleshooting software issues that may come up, and identify solutions.
  • Assist in implementing IT Service Management
  • Assist in various IT projects
  • Create step-by-step training material with screenshots for department
  • Document internal procedures for internal and external stakeholders
  • Evaluate and modify the assigned software's performance as needed and without outage
  • Maintain the integrity of the cloud infrastructure, server deployment, and security for hosted managed applications
  • Make recommendations for future upgrades and scale
  • Manage user accounts and permissions within software platform and perform maintenance as needed
