The Full‑Stack Application Developer – Revenue Cycle Automation will serve as a technical expert embedded within the Revenue Cycle team, responsible for designing, developing, and deploying modern applications and automation solutions supporting outpatient physical therapy revenue cycle operations. This role requires strong proficiency in Typescript, modern front‑end and back‑end frameworks, API development, and secure application design. The developer will also use Python for data processing, workflow automation, and integration tasks. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with experience building enterprise applications, translating operational requirements into scalable solutions, and collaborating with leaders across both technical and non‑technical teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience developing applications in Typescript.
  • Proficiency with Python for data engineering.
  • Strong experience building APIs, integration services, automation workflows, or data-driven applications.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases
  • Experience developing secure, scalable applications aligned with enterprise data governance and security standards (HIPAA experience preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in software development best practices, including testing, CI/CD, documentation, and version control

  • Healthcare experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Typescript-based applications, APIs, and services supporting revenue cycle automation.
  • Use Python and SQL to develop supporting scripts, transformation logic, and automation routines.
  • Collaborate with revenue cycle leadership to identify high-impact automation opportunities and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Integrate applications with existing systems, databases, and third-party APIs.
  • Create secure, compliant solutions adhering to HIPAA, enterprise security standards, and data governance guidelines.
  • Participate in agile development cycles—sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, and retrospectives
  • Produce documentation, code comments, architecture diagrams, and user guides.
  • Provide technical mentorship to junior developers and collaborate closely with technical teams across IT and Revenue Cycle.
  • Ensure applications are stable, maintainable, well‑tested, and built using modern software engineering principles.
  • Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and enhance reliability across applications and workflows.
  • Engage with operational leaders to ensure solutions are usable, effective, and aligned with real-world workflows.
