Skilled in CI/CD automation, governance, performance tuning, observability, and cross‑functional collaboration, serving as an SME for secure hybrid API platform development and cloud operations.

Responsibilities

  • 10+ years of experience of Senior API Platform Developer-Engineer (Apigee / Hybrid Cloud Integration).
  • Specialized engineer who designs, develops, and optimizes enterprise-grade API solutions on Apigee (Edge and Hybrid).
  • This role demands an expert in both API platform management and hybrid cloud integration.
  • The engineer architects robust API proxies, policies, and reusable shared flows/templates leveraging OpenAPI/Swagger standards, while implementing and maintaining secure API integrations (mTLS, OAuth/JWT, encryption, certificate lifecycle management).
  • Full-stack development capabilities-spanning Java/Spring Boot, Node.js microservices, and container-native orchestration (Kubernetes, Istio, Docker, Envoy)-are critical for backend enablement and seamless hybrid cloud operations.
  • Hands-on CI/CD automation, pipeline design (Grunt, scripting), and infrastructure-as-code practices ensure scalable, repeatable deployments and proxy versioning.
  • This professional also focuses on governance, performance optimization, observability, logging, and analytics, troubleshooting runtime issues for reliability and scalability.
  • Their responsibilities include collaborating cross-functionally with product and architecture teams, maintaining partial overlap with US time zones for Agile delivery, and acting as an SME on all aspects of hybrid platform development and secure integration.
