About The Position

Overview Nakupuna Prime is seeking a Developer to provide hands-on software development and sustainment support for the U.S. Navy’s Total Force Manpower Management System (TFMMS). This role supports a mission-critical enterprise application used by Navy manpower professionals to manage organizational data, manpower authorizations, and force planning information across secure environments. The Mid Developer contributes to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of application components while ensuring system reliability, security, and data accuracy. Requirements

The candidate must be self-motivated, pay close attention to detail, and have good oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated experience developing or maintaining enterprise software applications.
Experience working with database-driven web applications.
Ability to work effectively within a team supporting secure Government systems.
Certifications may be required in line with DoDD 8140 (e.g., Network+ CE, Security+ CE, CASP CE) to include Required developer, system, or privileged-access certifications necessary to perform assigned duties.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance.
An interim is required before receiving a formal job offer.
Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands, wrists, and fingers.
Ability to engage in and follow audible communications in emergency situations.
Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in any technical or managerial discipline is preferred.
A minimum of three (3) years of professional experience desired
Ability to travel to or occasionally work in Arlington, VA preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, and maintain application components supporting manpower and organizational management functions.
Implement approved software updates, defect fixes, and enhancements under the guidance of senior technical staff.
Write, test, and maintain code using Java, PL/SQL, JavaScript, HTML5, and related technologies.
Execute unit testing, integration testing, and regression testing to validate software changes.
Support integration activities and data exchanges between system components and external interfaces.
Assist with troubleshooting and resolving application issues to maintain system availability and performance.
Apply secure coding standards and support remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
Maintain source code and technical artifacts using Government-approved version control and configuration management tools.
Participate in Agile development activities, including sprint planning, daily standups, demonstrations, and retrospectives.
Support deployment activities and post-release verification in coordination with the development team.
Comply with all Department of Defense and U.S. Navy security, access control, and data handling requirements.
