Windsor Communities is seeking a Service Technician II for Windsor Biscayne Shores, a mid-rise style community consisting of 240 apartment homes in Miami, FL. This role involves performing routine maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and appliance repairs, as well as maintaining property curb appeal. The technician will be responsible for efficiently completing work orders, preparing vacant units for new residents, and responding to emergency maintenance requests and after-hours calls in an on-call rotation. Key duties also include conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance on all equipment and systems (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical, Fire & Life Safety) to ensure proper functioning and prevent issues. The role requires ensuring compliance with safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment, managing inventory of maintenance supplies, and keeping accurate records of activities. Customer service is crucial, involving professional interaction with residents, contractors, vendors, and suppliers, and collaborating with the property management team to resolve maintenance issues.
