About The Position

Ridgefield Park School District Special Services The Ridgefield Park Board of Education located in Bergen County NJ, a K-12 grade school district serving 2400 students, is seeking a motivated and dedicated individual for the position listed below. Behaviorist: (Leave Replacement - January 26, 2026 to June 30, 2026)

Requirements

• BCBA
• Previous experience developing behavioral interventions and ABA programs in educational settings preferred

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement therapy programs in accordance with student' IEPs that will support development and generalization of life skills
• Provide consultation, professional development and services for students and staff including monitoring of ABA and ABLLS
• Train staff on data collection and discrete trials
• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments and develop reports and/or behavior intervention plans
• Participate as a member of the CST in the identification and placement of students in need of specialized services.
• Conduct individual and group counseling (social skills)
• Monitor the implementation of behavioral plans
• Case Manage when needed
• Be available to help support teachers in the classroom environment when necessary
