We are seeking a highly skilled Ansible Senior Solutions Architect with deep expertise in DevOps automation and architecture. This role will lead the design and delivery of advanced automation solutions for Windows Server environments, ensuring seamless integration with client tooling and processes. Requirements

  • This role requires being onsite 3 days a week in Plano, TX.
  • Core Technologies: Ansible
  • Scripting: PowerShell, Shell, Python, YAML
  • GitHub, Windows, VMware
  • Must have led updates or implementation of IAAC using Ansible in a large environment (hundreds or servers or pipelines).
  • Familiarity with VMware virtualization and Windows administration- local data center, on prem.
  • Proven track record in Windows Server automation and DevOps architecture
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks
  • Strong understanding of VMware virtualization and Windows administration
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support data-informed task execution.
  • A solid understanding of AI capabilities and limitations including ethical considerations is expected

  • Certifications: RHCE/EX407 (Ansible)
  • VMware VCP-DCV
  • Microsoft (Windows Server/Administration)

Responsibilities

  • Architect and Design: Develop high-level architecture and technical design for Windows in-place upgrade automation integrated with customer’s existing tooling.
  • Automation Development: Build a complete Ansible-based automation package including: CI/CD pipeline templates (GitHub Actions or equivalent) Pre-checks, ISO mount, unattended upgrade, post-checks, rollback Integration with existing intake portal/process
  • Pilot Execution: Execute pilot to upgrade Windows Server 2012/2016 to 2025 Validate OS upgrade, rollback, and KMS activation
  • Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Deliver operational runbook, quick-start guide, architecture diagrams Conduct two knowledge transfer sessions for the customer’s team
